A very happy Mother's Day to all of you Mommies out there, but in particular to my wonderful sister Laura, who is celebrating her very first Mother's Day!
PS...Do you like the orchid? I grew it myself, which is to say it belongs to me and it grew in a pot outside my house where I sometimes gave it water and kept the kids from knocking it over. The fact that it is alive is a testament to its hardiness, since plants usually give up and wither when they are left in my care. And this one is pretty!
